Offer Commission for Referrals
Once you have converted a customer and they like your product/service, it becomes easier to get other customers through them, but it’s faster if you offer them some form of incentives.
Depending on the nature of your business, you can create a referral reward system where existing customers get commissions or gifts whenever they bring their friends and family to patronize your business.
There’s a particular pharmacy that I always patronize because I have points accumulated with them and I can use those points to make free purchases from the store. I stay loyal to that pharmacy because I don’t want to lose out on the points I get for patronizing them. I would instead drive a few miles to that particular store to purchase items rather than waste my money in a place where I won’t be getting anything extra.
You can set up a similar reward system for your business so that people can stay loyal to your company even when you are not actively promoting to them.
